Hayden's Heart: Hayden's Heart Monthly Beat

January and February ~

These months are slow times event wise, but behind the scenes, our board members and committees are in full swing preparing for the upcoming yearly events.

Tying up loose ends for the 5K, as well as finishing up and finalizing details for the Pinstripes and Diamonds is high on the priority list the first two months of the year. (More information on both of these exciting events on our website www.haydensheart.org)

In January ~

Dates are set and plans are starting for our two summer golf tournaments (New Jersey- Friday July 15th, and Pennsylvania- Friday July 22nd- stay tuned for more information!)

Our ‘Healing of the Heart’ retreat planning is already well underway in January and February. Read more about this years retreat on our website. In February ~

‘Hayden’s Heart’- a children’s paperback book, was released! Written by Ady and illustrated by long-time friend, Libby Lasco, Hayden’s Heart is an uplifting story about the love that was bestowed upon him from all that knew him. Ady enjoyed spending time doing some newspaper articles, a mini book tour, and a book release party to celebrate this exciting accomplishment! Books are always for sale on our website under the shop link.

Ady is honored to have been asked to join the ‘On Coming Alive’ project run by Lexi Behrndt, of www.scribblesandcrumbs.com. This movement shares stories of pain and loss, and how these survivors are rising from the ashes and coming alive.

Also, a very special thanks to all who helped us raise awareness during Heart Awareness Month for CHD and for those who hosted their own fundraisers for Hayden.

We are so excited to celebrate Hayden's fourth heavenly birthday with you all on March 19th at our 4th Annual 5K Birthday Bash! This year, we are honoring Matthew Mursch and his inspiring family- registration and details are up on our website!

‘Hayden’s Favorite Things’ Care packages are being delivered to four pediatric cardiac hospitals totally 60 care packages on March 12 in honor of Hayden’s 4th birthday! Thanks to Manhattan Toy and My Little Legs for their annual generous donations!!
